The Prince of Wales loves wool — he launched the Campaign for Wool (which we're a member of) and inspired the Cambrian Mountains Initiative to promote and celebrate products from the Cambrian Mountains region of Wales.
Our Creative Director, Talia Hussain, was invited to a private viewing of the Cambrian Wool Challenge exhibition near Aberystwyth. She got to meet HRH The Prince of Wales and spoke to him about supply chains and sustainability in the fashion industry, as well as the resurgence of 'Made in Britain' as the mark of a premium product.
The Cambrian Wool Design Challenge exhibition has been touring around the UK all summer. The exhibition includes a wide range of products showing the beauty and versatility of wool: toys, sculptures, upholstery, homewares, jewelry, woven, knitted and felted textiles were all on display. Ramnation sent a mens pullover created specifically for the show.
